The infamous Daytona International Speedway hosted the second round of the East Coast Championship. The long and rutted track was tougher than usual supercross tracks, and the reigning outdoor champion, Jeremy Martin, really thrived on its conditions. It was an action packed main event, as the top four riders battled it out. Martin managed to take the lead with three laps to go, and rode on to victory. Plessinger had a tough time, coming from behind, on a very one-lined track, but he managed to make it all the way into fifth.
