The University of Phoenix Stadium hosted the fifth round of the supercross series. Cooper Webb was determined to gain the red plate back, and that is exactly what he did. Webb qualified first in both practices and won the second heat race. He came close to winning the main, but crashed in a challenge for the lead. He finished second. Martin came second in the first heat race. He rode solidly in the main, and finished seventh. Harrison finished eleventh in the second heat race, which sent him to the LCQ. There the rookie collided with another rider in the whoops, which ended his chances of going to the main.
