Cooper Webb’s return from injury has brought back a familiar scene that we saw at the 2014 outdoor nationals. Yamalube Star Racing Yamaha riders Webb and Martin were in a league of their own at the eighth round at Martin’s home track in Minnesota. Martin qualified fastest in both practices but lost the use of his clutch early on in the first moto. His outright speed allowed him to stay in the game, and he managed to finish third. Webb worked his way into the lead and ran away with the win. In the second moto, Martin took the holeshot, rode his own race, and won the moto by twenty-five seconds. Webb was next in line; finishing second, which awarded him the overall. Rookie Aaron Plessinger had two strong top ten finishes, and finished sixth overall.
