This weekend was the fourth round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Penssylvania. the Mysplash/Metal Mulisha/ Star Racing / Yamaha team had another consistent weekend with more top 10 finishes.
The 175 machine of Cooper Webb continued proving he is a rookie to be reckoned with. Although Webb didn’t get the start he was looking for he was in 14th place on the first lap. He fought hard and worked his way up passing up to 6th place. In the second moto, Webb made a few rookie mistakes and found himself in 11th. Webb earned a respectable 8th overall and he sits 7th in points. Webb is looking forward to the off weekend as he will be testing with his team manager Ryan Morais working on improving his results.
Jeremy Martin,77 had a great showing this weekend at High Point. Although Martin didn’t the start he wanted in the first moto making mistakes fighting from 16th to a solid 9th place. In the second moto, Martin got a third place start and found himself in 4th place the majority of the second moto. He caught the Gieco Honda rider, Zach Osborne and while passing for third he went down. He quickly remounted and found him self in 6th place. Martin got 7th place overall and currently sits a respectable 9th place in the points standing.
Kyle Cunningham, 38, the veteran had a solid first moto working his way from 13th to 7th. Although he didn’t get the start he wanted he put his head down and worked his way through the pack. In the second moto, Kyle had some bad luck. Cunningham started in 12th and was making moves on the first lap when a rock hit his goggles knocking the lens out and forcing him to finish the moto with no goggles. He finished 16th in the second moto and received 11th overall for the day. He currently sits 10th in points. Although Kyle had a rough weekend on the track, he had an exciting weekend off the track as he became an uncle for the first time on Saturday!
