Another solid weekend for the Myplash Star Racing Yamaha team at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colorado. The MyPlash/Star Racing Yamaha stable of rookies impressed for a second consecutive week. Cooper Webb locked down his first career podium—in only his second career race—in the first moto. Webb fought from an 8th place start to a late race charge over the two time world champion Marvin Musquin for 3rd place. Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac respectably taking the 1 and 2 postions.  In the second moto, Webb crashed in turn 1 coming around the first lap in 22nd. Cooper fought hard to come back up to 10th place. With three laps to go Cooper went off the track loosing several positions ending up 17th. Webb earned a respectable 9th place over all.

Not wanting to be outdone, Jeremy Martin also had a break out weekend. Earning 6th overall this weekend Jeremy had two consistent motos. Starting in 10th place in the first moto he worked his way up to an 8th place finish. In the second moto, Martin snagged the Motorcylce-Superstore.com holeshot, proving the Myplash Star Racing Yamahas belong up front before falling back to sixth in the moto 2. Martin is looking forward to improving on his results each weekend.

The veteran Kyle Cunningham also had a top 10 start in moto 1 and worked his way up to 7th before having a big crash ending his moto 1 charge.  Cunningham would get checked out by asterisks mobile medical unit before returning to the line just moments before the second moto started. Although he was in some pain he gave lots of heart and determination earning Cunningham a very respectable 9th place finish in the second moto.

All three Myplash Star Racing Yamaha riders are top 10 in overall points and are looking forward to the series traveling east, it could hold an advantage for the North Carolina (Webb) and Minnesota (Martin, who also trains in Florida) natives as well as Cunningham who trains in his native Texas.
